23 Minutes in Hell

  • One man's story about what he saw, heard, and felt in that place of torment.

Written on the back of the book it states "My sincere hope is that This book is the closest you will ever come to experiencing hell for yourself."

Bill Wiese saw the searing flames of hell, felt total isolation, and experienced the putrid and totting stench, deafening screams of agony, terrorizing demons, and finally, the strong hand of God lifting him out of the pit.

"TELL THEM I AM COMING VERY, VERY SOON!"

Wiese's visit to the devil's lair lasted just twenty-three minutes, but he returned with vivid details etched in his memory. Since this life-changing ordeal, he spent the last seven years studying the Scriptures to find answers and has listed more than 150 Bible verses referencing hell.

Everyone is curious about the afterlife, and now Wiese shares his insights to commonly asked questions such as:
  • Is hell a literal burning place?
  • Where is hell?
  • Do you have a body in hell?
  • Are there degrees of punishment in hell?
  • Are there children in hell?
  • Can demons torment people in hell?
  • Can "GOOD" people go to hell?

"Even if you don't believe my story, I hope you will believe the Scriptures and avoid hell just the same."

Seann,

My name is Marcos and I am the sales manager for Charisma House and the rest of the Strang Book Group--which publishes 23 Minutes in Hell. Thanks for the write up on this great title!

I encourage you and the rest of your subscribers to also check out Bill Wiese's NEW book called HELL. It answers many questions readers had when reading 23 Minutes in Hell and more importantly, it provides sold biblical teaching with in-depth scripture references.

Hell, by Bill Wiese released just over a month ago on September 2, 2008. It's available wherever books are sold.

Thanks again! Blessings to you.

Read Hebrews 9:27-28 and let me know your thoughts.

I don't think it is possible for a man to die and go to hell and then come back to earth.

We don't get a second chance, and God does not make mistakes. When He sends someone to hell it is for all eternity.

Also read Luke 16:23-35.

Ryan,

I could not agree with you more. However, if you read the book you will see that Bill Wiese never died.

Hello, Marcos.

Please forgive me as I have not read the book, and might need to pick it up just to see in more detail what the book talks about.

I do have a question and that is if he did not die, then is what he shares because of deep, and hard meditation on what the Word of God says about hell, or did he in fact go to hell and "experience" this stuff first hand?

Take the book, "90 Minutes in Heaven, by Don Piper". I don't buy it.

Now I can understand someone having a "glimpse" into heaven or hell because of illumination that the Holy Spirit might bring about from time spent in the Bible, but not "experience" from actually being in those places and then coming back to share with the world.

God bless you, and keep pressing on for His honor and glory!

Yo Ryan,

You need to keep in mind that God can use whatever methods He desires to bring understanding to someones mind, weather that be about heaven or hell.

Jesus is the only way to God, but Christians are not the only way to Jesus. God will advance His kingdom the way He desires. Remember we are the clay! I love your energy. Keep pressing.

Ryan,

Some call what Bill Wiese experienced a VERY vivid vision. According to Bill Wiese, he speaks from the stand point of actually being there. In the introduction, Bill Wiese says after he fell asleep on Sunday night, November 22, 1998--he "woke up at 3AM on the 23rd being hurled through the air, and then was falling to the ground, completely out of control. I landed in what appeared to be a prison cell." He continues with descriptions of where he landed and later says "This was not a dream--I was actually in this strange place. Fully awake and cognizant, I had no idea what had happened, how I had traveled, or why I was there until it was shown to me and explained later during my journey."

It's hard to conceive this actually happened, but there is nowhere in the Bible that I found that says it can't. Actually, Bill Wiese was quiet about this for some time until he sought counsel and made sure his experience was scripturally accurate.

I think you will enjoy the book.
