Recommended read

Just finished the book Humility True Greatness by C.J. Mahaney.

Great book and I highly recommend this book to those that desire holiness! C.J. gives a great biblical view of humility, something that every Christian can learn on.

C.J. notes "that ultimately our Christian service exists only to draw attention to this source -- to our crucified and risen Lord who gave Himself as a ransom for us all." Amen to that!

Been reading the book Humility True Greatness by C.J. Mahaney. Powerful and recommended read, full of wisdom nuggets that will last till the end of your time. C.J. gives a list that I wanted to share of ways that you can start your day off right for God. How do you start your day off? What would be on your list?

- Reflect on the wonder of the cross of Christ

- Begin your day by acknowledging your dependence upon God and your need for God

- Begin your day expressing gratefulness to God

- Practice the spiritual disciplines (prayer, study of God's Word, worship)

- Seize your commute time to memorize and meditate on scripture

- Cast your cares upon Him

Keep pressing, Keep praying, Keep God in mind when you start your day!
