5 things dangerous to a Christian soul

1. Not forgiving others the way God has forgiven us.

Matthew 6:15
But if you do not forgive men their sins,
your Father will not forgive your sins.

Ephesians 4:32
Be kind and compassionate to one another,
forgiving each other, just as in Christ
God forgave you.

2. Pride / Self-Glorification

Proverbs 11:2
When pride comes, then comes disgrace,
but with humility comes wisdom.

Proverbs 16:5
The Lord detests all the proud of heart.
Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished.

3. Not living holy

Romans 12:1
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy,
to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and
pleasing to God -- this is your spiritual act of worship.

Colossians 1:10
And we pray this in order that you may live a life
worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way:
bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the
knowledge of God

Colossians 3:5-10
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your
earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust,
evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because
of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to
walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But
now you must rid yourselves of all such things as
these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy
language from your lips. Do not lie to each other,
since you have taken off your old self with its
practices and have put on the new self, which is
being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

1 Peter 1:16
for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."

4. Not growing in spiritual maturity

Hebrews 5:13
Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is
not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness.

1 Peter 2:2
Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that
by it you may grow up in your salvation

Ephesians 4:14-16
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and
forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every
wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of
men in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking
the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into
him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the
whole body, joined and held together by every supporting
ligament, grows and builds itself up in love,
as each part does its work.

5. Not honoring your father & mother

Deuteronomy 5:16
"Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your
God has commanded you, so that you may live long and
that it may go well with you in the land the LORD
your God is giving you.

Mark 7:10
For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother,
' and, 'Anyone who curses his father or mother must
be put to death.'

Ephesians 6:2
"Honor your father and mother"—which is the first
commandment with a promise—
